Apprenticeship as an investment fund management assistant ('Investmentfondskaufmann/-frau')

The training to become an investment fund management assistant was initiated by the BVI and its member companies. We developed the profile and the relevant requirements for the profession in conjunction with the trade union ver.di, the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Frankfurt Bethmannschule. The training focuses on fund accounting, fund controlling, custody services, research and fund management as well as real estate and marketing.

Examination as investment specialist IHK  ('Investment-Fachwirt IHK')

The IHK offers experienced employees from the fund industry the opportunity to take the examination to become an investment specialist. We developed the requirement profile for the additional qualification together with our member companies and the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce as well as with further training providers. The main topics are investment business, business administration, economics and law. Specialisation in one of the areas of portfolio management, marketing, sales or risk management can be planned individually.
